Ingredients

  • For The Meatloaf:
  • 2 pounds ground beef 80/20
  • 1 package Lipton Onion Soup Mix
  • 2 large eggs beaten
  • 1 cup Italian breadcrumbs
  • ¾ cup milk
  • ¼ cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • For The Topping:
  • ½ cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons yellow mustard
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar

Instructions

  • Preheat The Oven:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9x5-inch loaf pan with foil or parchment paper, or grease a baking sheet for a free-form loaf.
  • Mix The Ingredients:
  • In a large bowl, combine ground beef, Lipton Onion Soup Mix, eggs, breadcrumbs, milk, ketchup, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix gently until just combined.
  • Shape The Meatloaf:
  • Transfer the mixture to the loaf pan or baking sheet. Shape into a loaf and press lightly for even texture.
  • Make The Glaze:
  • In a small bowl, combine ketchup, mustard, and brown sugar. Stir until smooth. Spread evenly over the top of the meatloaf.
  • Bake:
  • Bake for 1 hour or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
  • Rest And Serve:
  • Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing to retain moisture. Serve warm.

Notes

Don’t overmix the meat mixture to keep it tender.
