Ingredients

  • 1 ½ Cups Almond Flour
  • 2 Tablespoons Coconut Flour
  • 1 Tablespoon Psyllium Husk Powder
  • 2 Teaspoons Baking Powder
  • ½ Teaspoon Salt
  • 3 Large Eggs
  • 3 Tablespoons Melted Butter or Coconut Oil
  • 2 –4 Tablespoons Warm Water
  • Sesame Seeds Optional

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Mix almond flour, coconut flour, psyllium husk, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
  • Whisk eggs and melted butter in another bowl.
  • Combine wet and dry ingredients.
  • Add warm water until dough thickens.
  • Let the dough rest for 2–3 minutes.
  • Shape into 4–6 round buns.
  • Sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
  • Bake for 18–22 minutes or until golden.
  • Cool for a few minutes before slicing.

Notes

Use superfine almond flour for the best texture.
Add garlic or onion powder for savory flavor.
Use coconut oil instead of butter for a dairy-free option.
Freeze buns for up to 3 months.
Add more water only if the dough feels too thick.
