- 300 g minced beef
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup water
- Handful of fresh basil & coriander leaves sliced thinly
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp dried oregano or preferred herb of choice
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
In a large bowl, combine the minced pork and minced beef.
Add the egg, water, basil, coriander, garlic, black pepper, salt, and oregano. Mix gently without overmixing.
Add the Parmesan cheese and breadcrumbs to the mixture. Stir until well combined.
Shape the mixture into meatballs about 1-1.5 inches in diameter (you should get around 28 meatballs).
Preheat the air fryer to 200°C (390°F) for 5 minutes.
Reduce the temperature to 180°C (350°F) and arrange the meatballs in a single layer in the air fryer basket (do not overcrowd).
Air fry for 10 minutes, checking for doneness with a meat thermometer. The meatballs should reach 160°F internally.
Let the meatballs rest for a few minutes before serving.
