- 4 frozen turkey burger patties ⅓ lb each
- 4 hamburger buns
- 4 slices of cheese cheddar, Swiss, or American
- 2 tablespoons butter for toasting buns
- Cooking spray or light oil mist
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional toppings: lettuce tomato, onions, pickles, mayo, ketchup
Preheat Air Fryer: Set to 375°F (190°C) and let it heat for 3–5 minutes.
Arrange Patties: Lightly oil the basket. Place frozen turkey patties in a single layer, leaving space between each.
Cook: Air fry for 14–16 minutes, until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). No flipping required for most models.
Melt Cheese: Add a slice of cheese to each patty and close the air fryer (turned off) for 1 minute to melt.
Toast Buns: Spread butter on buns and toast in the air fryer for 1–2 minutes or until golden brown.
Assemble: Add desired toppings and serve hot with fries, salad, or roasted veggies.
Always check internal temperature for food safety.
Avoid overcrowding the basket; air circulation ensures even cooking.
For extra crispiness, lightly mist patties with oil before cooking.
You can use ground chicken or beef patties with the same timing.
