- 1 lb ground beef or ground turkey
- 1/3 cup oatmeal or breadcrumbs
- 1/3 cup Parmesan cheese
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup tomato sauce or ketchup
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- Optional: diced vegetables onions, mushrooms, carrots, zucchini
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a muffin tin with cooking spray or oil.
In a large bowl, mix together ground meat, oatmeal, Parmesan cheese, egg, tomato sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, Worcestershire sauce, and any optional veggies. Season with salt and pepper.
Spoon the meat mixture into the muffin tin, filling each cup about 3/4 full.
Top each muffin with a spoonful of tomato sauce or ketchup.
Bake for 25-35 minutes or until a meat thermometer reads 160°F (71°C) for beef or 165°F (74°C) for poultry.
