Ingredients

  • 2 large russet potatoes about 1 lb / 450 g
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt or to taste
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Optional: garlic powder onion powder, cayenne, Parmesan, or fresh herbs

Instructions

  • Wash and cut potatoes into even wedges.
  • Soak in cold water for 20–30 minutes, then drain and pat dry.
  • Toss wedges in a bowl with olive oil, salt, pepper, and paprika.
  • Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
  • Place wedges in a single layer in the basket.
  • Cook for 15–20 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crisp.
  • Let cool for 2–3 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For extra crispy wedges, soak longer (up to 1 hour).
  • Don’t overcrowd the basket; cook in batches if necessary.
