- 1.5 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 2 cups low sodium chicken broth
- 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 block 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 12 oz rotini or penne pasta
- 1/2 cup heavy cream or half and half
- chopped parsley for garnish optional
Place the chicken in the crockpot and season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
Add broth, minced garlic, cream cheese, and Parmesan on top.
Cover and cook on low for 4 to 5 hours or high for 2 to 3 hours.
Shred the chicken in the crockpot and stir to blend with the sauce.
Cook pasta separately and drain.
Add cooked pasta to the crockpot.
Stir in heavy cream until smooth and creamy.
Taste and serve warm.
