Equipment

  • Air fryer
  • Knife or mandolin slicer
  • Mixing bowl
  • Tongs or spatula

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Yukon Gold potatoes or Russet potatoes
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or avocado oil
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat the Air Fryer: Set to 380°F (190°C) and preheat for 3–5 minutes.
  • Slice the Potatoes: Wash and slice potatoes evenly into ¼-inch thick rounds.
  • Season: Toss slices in a bowl with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder until well coated.
  • Arrange in Basket: Place the potato slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Avoid overcrowding.
  • Cook: Air fry for 15 minutes, flipping halfway through. For extra crispiness, cook 2–3 minutes longer.
  • Serve: Remove when golden brown and crisp. Garnish with parsley and serve warm.

Notes

• Use a mandolin slicer for perfectly even slices.
• Do not overcrowd the basket — cook in batches if necessary.
• For extra flavor, add paprika, rosemary, or Parmesan cheese.
• To reheat, air fry at 380°F for 2–3 minutes until crispy again.
