Equipment

  • Air fryer
  • Mixing bowl
  • Spatula or spoon
  • Knife and cutting board
  • Paper towels or clean dish towel

Ingredients

  • 3 medium russet or gold potatoes cubed (1-inch pieces)
  • 1 ½ tbsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • Optional: grated parmesan parsley, or onion powder

Instructions

  • Wash and dice potatoes into 1-inch cubes. Pat completely dry.
  • In a mixing bowl, toss potatoes with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3–5 minutes.
  • Add potatoes to the basket in a single layer. Air fry for 12–15 minutes, shaking halfway through.
  • Remove when golden brown and crispy.
  • Sprinkle with parsley or parmesan and serve hot.

Notes

For extra crispiness, soak potatoes in cold water for 15–30 minutes before cooking.
Don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket — work in batches if necessary.
Add parmesan or herbs after cooking for better texture.
Best served immediately for maximum crunch.
